Overview

This document briefly describes ORBET. The application used to create organizational charts v1.00.

Features

File

  • New: This option when selected brings up a new chart after clearing the screen of the old chart if any.
  • Open: This option when selected brings up a dialog box for opening a previously saved file.
  • Save: This option when selected saves the current file with the default name and extension.
  • Save As: This option when selected brings up a dialog box for saving the current file with a user-defined name and extension.
  • Print: This option when selected brings up the default dialog box for printing.
  • Exit: Exits the application.

    Edit

  • Cut: This option cuts the selected nodes from the application and places them on the clipboard.
  • Copy: This option copies the selected nodes from the application and places them on the clipboard.
  • Paste: This option pastes the nodes in the clipboard onto the selected node(s).

    Background

    This menu is used to change the background color of the Chart once the Chart is displayed on the screen.
